Band Bios; Shaw From is a down home blues singer and Harp player extraordinaire. Raised in New York City, he has been around great artists from the 60's and 70's at a very influential time is his musical development. As one of the founding fathers of the Wailin' Wolves, he and Phil bring old blues favorites back to life in the 2000's with their great love of the old classic blues tunes that were the foundation of today's blues and rock n' roll.

Phil Sanders is a guitar player originally from Oklahoma, currently living in Tallahassee, Florida. He appreciates the blues as the root of much American music and is influenced by musicians such as T-Bone Walker, Freddie King, Howlin Wolf, Elmore James, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Son Seals, BB King, Charlie Musselwhite, Guitar "Junior Johnson, Fenton Robinson, and Bert Calderon, to name a few. Also likes reggae, country, jazz, Jimmy Buffett, Beatles, and tunes about beaches. He has played with notable musicians at campfires and bonfires, where many types of music may be inspired.

Bert Calderon has a number of years of both pro and amateur guitar playing having shared stages with the likes of The Young Rascals, the Butterfield Blues Band, The Blues Project, BB King, Robert Cray, Randall "Big Daddy Blues" Webster, Joe Walsh, Etta James, Jeff Conaway, Spirit, and numerous others. He was born in the windy city, Chicago, Ill., home of the blues, which is where he began playing guitar. His family then migrated to NYC, NY, where he began playing with some reknowned bands in the area, having played at the famous Cafe Wah and Cafe Au Go Go in the village, amongst many other well known stages. He has played in clubs and concert hall stages on and off since the age of 16, rockin' many a house down with his special driving bluesy leads and his unique arrangements. Having written numerous songs and poems and playing from Chicago to Texas and New York to Jamaica - he has a wealth of expertise and talent to offer.

Yvette Scott is a talented, beautiful singer with a phenomenal range and unique sound quality to her voice. Singing everything from Blues to Country to Classic Rock, her voice and style suit a variety of tunes. She is definitely a shining star on stage bringing lots of applause from our audiences. She has a music degree from FSU and is trained in Classical, Opera, and has a formal Music Background. With this training, she is now developing her own unique vocals style and applying it to the blues and rock tunes she loves so well.

Sean Scott has played in numerous bands and has a natural star quality to his drumming. He has a lot of experience playing with churches and numerous gospel bands. His drumming is extraordinary and is a great blessing to our band.
